A waterfront retreat on special lands steeped in living history
The lands upon which Cluxewe Resort sits have been home to the Kwakiutl People since time immemorial. Located in a peaceful spot where the Cluxewe River meets the Broughton Strait, Cluxewe was once home to a teeming village of 2000. Today this land is considered an important Origin site in our oral history.
Cluxewe Resort is nestled on 61 acres of towering trees, flowing waters, and ocean air. Enjoy a meandering drive north on Vancouver Island’s east coast from Victoria or Nanaimo, or a 20-minute drive south from Port Hardy.
